Software - Modesty Blaze Imp3 @ 224 Kbps | 58:36 min. | 1991 | 93.2 MB Software is an enigma, and the double meaning of this will soon become clear. The sole creative constant in the group is German artist Michael Weisser, who also writes science-fiction novels. He draws on science fiction, high-tech poetry, computer graphics, holograms and thoroughly entertaining ideas in the 'electronic multi-media event' that each new Software becomes. "Modesty Blaze" heads for modern terrain, R-rated in parts (along with the erotic packaging layout), and occasionally captures the dance-mix style of the group Enigma (MCMXC A.D.). In addition, there are typically spacey portions that Software specializes in. With song titles like "Erotic Desire," "Naked Skin," "Slippery Dune" and "Masculine Magic," as well as three versions of the title track, you get the idea that the dance crowd and rave party scene are prime targets. Subtitled "The Erotic Message", there is little that is soft about this album from Software. |
